Trendsetters Hair Studio started out in a quaint 400 sqaure foot studio in the heart of Mitton village. Single operator Tracy Marcolin had a dream of starting her own salon that would accomodate all the needs of her clients. The clients came, and business flourished, and within the next year or so, Trendsetters exploded into a 2000 square foot, full day spa facility. Our location on Wellington St. was in the style of old-world Victorian, with a glass chandelier and wing- backed chair set in the waiting area, and refinished original hardwood floors thruout the waiting and salon cutting area. We offered all the needed sevices such as haircare, gel nails, manicures and pedicures, along with the luxuries like facials, seaweed body treatments, massage, and tanning. Ten years under our belt, and we were on top of the world!
Unfortnately, sickness doesn't wait for the best timing to strike. Due to a family members' bout with cancer, the salon closed so that we could be where we needed to be, which was alot of time in London. In order to continue with the service that everyone expected from Trendsetters, Tracy felt a brief haitus was the best option for the time being, until she could focus on the salon 100% again.
So here we are, in our new location, opened Feb.2008! It's definately a more modern look and more open concept, and we are loving it! It still has the same great atmoshere
including some staff "that never really left", along with some amazing new staff
members that really know their stuff. Be sure to check out their profiles under our

But the ending is this...
"we will be here to give you the best service and create the best styles,
the best Gel nails, and the most beautifull manicures and pedicures,
until we are forced retire!"
